Uncomfortable truths, vol. 46

1. I just found out on our March date night that scallops, oysters and clams are shellfish. (Grayson ordered scallops, and I asked what they tasted like. He gave me a funny look and answered, "Meat.") I thought shellfish were kind of limited to crab, lobster, shrimp and crawfish, I guess. I don't know what I thought oysters, et al, were, but I did NOT think they were meat.

2. I am not ready to move on quite yet. Scallops, oysters and clams can't move under their own steam, right? I mean, they like, move with the tide or something. They don't have legs or claws or eyes or anything to indicate to the outside world that they are LIVING CREATURES. They're basically rocks with something gelatinous on the inside, is what I'm saying. Vom.

3. I may have to start a new series titled "Things You Will Never See Me Tweet." Guess what. This one from my Twitter friend Tanya would be in the first post:

4.  I need a second iPhone so I can tweet from it while I talk on the other one.

I'm sorry. I am still laughing over number 3. "Spur of the moment half-marathon," TIME-STAMPED AT 4:52 A.M. ON A SATURDAY. Bahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

5. I tasted this while opening it for Amelia over the weekend. Yoplait needs to make it in adult packaging, because YUM. And if they don't, I'll probably just eat it right out of the container with the Trix rabbit on it.
