A little something for the teachers

We have to be really careful in the state of Alabama not to violate the new regulations that limit giving gifts to our teachers. It's been HUGE news locally, limiting families to acknowledge teachers with only small baked goods or small gifts that can be used in the classroom ... nothing personal.

But late last week the governor issued a clarification that allows teachers to accept "seasonal gifts" within reason. So I got to work on something I could afford AND do quickly, that would be somewhat personal.

I picked up two plastic boxes with compartments at Michael's. I used some of my scrapbooking papers to liven up the boring box tops.

One for Miss H, whose first name starts with A:

And one for Mrs. M, whose first name starts with a B:

I filled the little compartments with brightly colored office supplies that they can use at school or at home:

I included pushpins, magnets, paperclips, Post-It Flags ... and I filled in the empty compartments with holiday Reese's Cups and York Peppermint Patties.

I got the idea from Eighteen25, who did a much cuter version. Wherever they shopped, they were able to find office supplies in cute solid colors. They obviously didn't shop at Michael's, because I struggled to find just the few things I was able to get my hands on.

BUT, our teachers seemed to like them, and that's the important thing.

Are you giving seasonal gifts to your children's teachers? If so, what was your choice? I have a Pinterest board with Teacher Appreciation ideas, which is where I Pinned this idea long ago. Take a peek if you'd like!

I can't believe the state won't allow teacher gifts! How sad, our teachers are so important and it can be a thankless job at times. I taught before kids for 7 years and loved getting gifts from students. Your idea was fabulous! So nice and useful.

I wrote about OUR teacher gifts today, too! We must be sharing a brain this morning! We have the same state laws about teacher's gifts, which in our case, has been a good thing. Parents were starting to get really competitive and things were getting out of control. having the new rules helps remind everyone that these are "thank yous" and not bribes!

We hope that the info offered in this article can present deeper perception into the differences between social gamers and on-line gamblers. Whether or not companies will successfully bridge these two fields is but to be seen. In on-line gambling, players play by way of a downloaded PC app or on the website site}. In order to work together with the 온라인 카지노 game, the player has to specifically go to play, or to obtain an email reminding him in regards to the game. In other phrases, the sport is “out of sight, out of mind” more often than not}.
