In which I admit to not feeling so hot

It was an interesting weekend ... much more low-key than I'd planned it to be, or wanted it to be.

Last week, although I didn't mention it, I experienced quite the resurgence of hemorrhoids around my bottomparts. At the beginning of the week, I considered it manageable, but by Thursday I was in so much pain that my OB sent me over to the surgeon again. (I had my regular OB visit on Friday morning, but they didn't want me to wait.)

So on Thursday at 1:30, I had The Dreaded Procedure once again. This time, Grayson drove me there and back home so that I wouldn't embarrass myself in Walgreen's again. Smart move.

So I ended up spending the rest of Thursday and all day Friday on my left side, which about killed me. I'm totally unaccustomed to being still for that long, and lying down in particular is a problem for me. It gives me migraines, you see.

So by Friday night I had a raging migraine, and I threw up all night long. I can say without hesitation that it was the worst night of this pregnancy, with pain in so darn many areas of my body that I was actually praying I would go into labor so I could get to the hospital and say, "GET HER OUT, AND GET SOME MIGRAINE MEDICINE IN ME. RIGHT. NOW."

The headache is better now, just a mild pain that is certainly manageable, but a nuisance nonetheless. I'd appreciate prayers for just a basic, functioning, pain-free (or close to it) body over the next several days. At a maximum, I only have to make it to next Monday, when the induction is scheduled.

I have a couple of posts I can work on lightly this week, since I already have the pictures loaded and I just need to throw the words at them. I'll try to do it, but forgive me if you don't see much over the next week. There's just no telling how I'm going to be feeling and what kind of time I'll have.

Thanks for your prayers and for all of the happiness you're sharing with me via comments and e-mail about Amelia's upcoming arrival!

That is just awful! I feel terribly for you. The migrane is horrible enough but more hemoroids and another procedure? That's just too much! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Amelia decides to make an earlier exit!

Oh, i am so sorry. That's miserable. Prayers will be said. If you are induced next Monday, our babies will be born on the same day. :)

So sorry you are having such a tough time. I'll remember you in my prayers. This part of pregnancy is miserable at best, and adding bottom issues and a migraine to it just makes it horrible. ((Hugs))

No need to apologize silly woman!! You are in the home stretch now, and I imagine will be quite occupied for some time. We all understand. Sorry you've had to deal with the hemmies/headache, ugh. Prayers sent up for you!!

I agree with all the comments. I can only imagine how uncomfortable you are & that is putting it nicely. I know you must feel like s#*t! I remember that "get this baby out of me feeling"! Just try to relax. Have a wee bit of wine. Even my Southern Baptist GYN/OB suggested it for this Southern Baptist gal! Just don't mix it with the meds!
