Brown!

I'm so fortunate that I get to pass this intersection several days a week on my way to work. I love to watch the trucks fan out, jauntily heading to their widespread locations, ready to deliver little pieces of joy in the midst of this crummy economy.

I get a little flutter in my tummy when I think about those trucks driving down our suburban streets ... where behind every door, someone is waiting for that book from Amazon.com, that birthday gift from Granny, the Wii Fit that's gonna help you yoga those pounds right off, those Wintry Fun stickers you ordered BECAUSE IT JUST SNOWED IN ALABAMA LAST WEEK.

Turn up the volume! Listen to those engines! Good times, my friends, good times. Feel free to come back and look at this video any time you need a little pick-me-up.

And yes, I WAS covertly surveying the intersection from behind a bush on the opposite side of the street. But let's not blow that element of the story out of proportion.

I think this should have gone under things Katherine is irrational about, but she doesn’t even realize it’s irrational. I am a little concerned she would leave me for a UPS delivery guy.

Hey, I'm Patrice's sister-in-law (married to Peyton, her brother). Since I've been reading Patrice's blog more recently, I've started reading yours too! I really enjoy it.

Anywho...when we lived in NoVA, the UPS center was on our way to Target. What a great day it was when I got to see the trucks leaving for the day AND then go and peruse Target.

You are so awesome. That made me very unexpectedly happy. It was like watching an army flank out to their positions, but a PRESENT ARMY! The fact that you stopped to film that makes me fall in love with you just a little bit more.

That made me smile! You have quite a personality, friend (we need to meet in real life)!

I KNEW I WASN'T NUTS! I knew it had to be something that made other people happy, too. Thanks for coming to my defense, ladies! And welcome, Amy! You didn't need to explain who you are ... of course I know! I took lots of pictures of you on M&P's wedding day, you know. :) Plus, I've enjoyed your blog, too!

Katherine,
Does Grayson allow you to watch King of Queens? He wouldn't be too worried about the delivery guy then.
