We're on the road today, traveling toward South Carolina to visit my grandmother on the way to our week on the North Carolina coast with Grayson's extended family for the 4th of July.
This is our 11th consecutive year making this beach trip, and it's always an adventure. This year there are 12 adults and 13 children, and we all stay in one house together.
This year I ran across a fun Travel Bingo game I thought I'd print out for the kids as we traverse the Southeast on our way to Ocean Isle Beach. If you're getting ready to travel this summer, too, I wanted to share it with you:
Go here to download your own high-res copy.
While we're gone, I'm going to honor the family's request of the last couple of years and not blog in the evenings. (I will at least try to download the pictures off my camera each night so there aren't 2,000 to sort through once I get home.)
But I was thinking I might post a few pictures from my phone here every day, just as the mood strikes, if anyone's interested. Feel free to check in periodically for that.
And if you're lucky, I'll be back with the full complement of Beach posts before Christmas, Lord willing and the creek don't rise.
