Happy and humbled

Sometime within the next several hours I should pass 100,000 visits to my blog, and I just wanted to say "thank you" to those of you who come by, who are interested in what a working mom in Alabama is doing and has to say on a daily basis.

I don't know why you keep coming back, but I'm so glad you do. It's humbling to know that there are more than just a few people out there (the ones who know me in real life) who are reading every day. And also scary, since the new version of Blogger doesn't have Spell Check. WHAT ARE THEY, CRAZY?

I know that there are hundreds of bloggers who get more than 100,000 hits a day -- some of them probably that many per hour -- but I'll never be in that league. I'm happy with what we have here, and I enjoy all of your comments and encouragement to the fullest.

Thanks again so much!

I'm so proud of you.

You are an incredible writer, and that's why you have such a following. Your voice resonates with people, as does your awesome sense of humor.

The reason people relate to you is your honesty and humor in dealing with the "stuff of life" that is encompassed in being a working, married mother of three boys.

You beautifully and humorously capture what it's like to be a mom, day-to-day. It's hard and rewarding, awful and wonderful at the same time. Your writing so honestly conveys that.

I love you, and I'm in awe of you.

100,031 @ 11:14 this morning - congratulations on the milestone! And, thanks for writing so the folks that don't know you in real life can stop in, too. Not much else that I can say since Sarah T did such a great job summing things up.
Enjoy the weekend!
