Threes of me

You know, when I've spent the weekend indoors with a kid who has a fever and a borderline attitude, and I don't have three hours to wait while 21 pictures s-l-o-w-l-y upload to Blogger for a more "visual" post for my faithful Sunday readers, plagiarizing my own meme results from the latest Facebook Tag, You're It note is very tempting. So tempting, in fact, that that's what I'm doing today. And I'm taking some extreme liberties with it and modifying some of the categories and adding a couple ... because it's my blog and I am the boss of it.

Three names I go by
1. Mommy
2. Kat
3. Katherine
4. (I know this is a list of threes, but I feel compelled to add that I am also called "Kathleen" about twice a month. Not by the same person every time, but if people make a mistake with my name, it's not to call me Kathy, Katie, Katelyn or Margaret. They always go with Kathleen.)
5. (Does the fact that I can't limit myself to three things mean that I'm a narcissist?)

Three jobs I had before I graduated from college
1. cashier at a sheet music store
2. mortgage processor
3. salesperson in a computer store on campus (I vividly remember the day that a customer had to explain to me what a "tower case" was. Proud moment.)

Three places I have lived
1. Southport, NC
2. Raleigh, NC
3. Marietta, GA

Three favorite drinks
1. Sweet tea
2. Coke Classic
3. Sweet tea
4. (Guess how many of these are allowed on Jenny Craig. You are correct.)

Three TV shows that I watch (one comedy, one drama, one reality)
1. The Office
2. Lost
3. So You Think You Can Dance

Three places I have been AND would like to go to again
1. Kauai, Hawaii
2. San Francisco
3. Seattle

Three places I have never been and would like to visit
1. Any other Hawaiian island
2. Boston
3. Paris

Three people who call me every day
1. Lisa (my college roommate who lives three minutes away but I only see in person once a month)
2. Melanie (my friend who started out as a coworker five years ago but today is like a sister to me)
3. My sister (my actual sister)
4. (Oh, wait a minute. I forgot. My sister asked me to start a blog, and then when I did, she cut her calls back to once every two weeks. My bad.)

Three of my favorite foods
1. chocolate chip cookies
2. caramel cake
3. oreo cheesecake

Three catalogs out of which I could completely furnish my house and outfit my kitchen with my eyes closed
1. Pottery Barn
2. Restoration Hardware
3. Ballard Designs

Three things I am looking forward to
1. The next time Nicholas tells me, "Watch this!" and then turns around and shakes his bootie
2. Enjoying the visible excitement on Nathaniel's face as he waits for the school bus on Tuesday morning
3.
The look on Jake's face when he sees me for the first time tomorrow morning

Three blogs I discovered after they'd been in existence for over a year, but I went back and read every. single. entry. in their archives
1. Pioneer Woman
2. Notes from the Trenches
3. dooce

Three bloggers who routinely write about what they had for lunch, but I love them anyway and eagerly await their next post
1. Lora Lynn @ Vitafamilae
2. Kelly @ Kelly's Korner
3. Jennifer @ MckMama
4. (Patrice, you don't count, because I know you in real life.)
5. (There are several more, and you can find them in my sidebar.)

Three things I know for sure
1. My love for my children is unconditional, everlasting and overwhelming at times
2. No film will ever be as good or as satisfying as the book from which it was adapted
3. I will never, ever stop craving chocolate at the end of a meal

And because I know many of you like Patrice but don't know her in real life, I'm asking her to do it, too. "Ah-peece," you're up! (Look! It's bloggy manna from the heavens ... an assigned topic for a post!)

P.S. I cannot BELIEVE that Blogger's spell check just questioned "bloggers," "bloggy" and "MckMama."

Hey! I didn't know I am (at least partially) to thank for your blog. You're welcome, readers!

Also, I can't believe Jackson didn't make it of places you've visited but want to visit again. I'm hoping that's only because I live here, and so it doesn't seem as exotic, unrealistic, and unreachable anymore so as to make the list.

Hi!
You may probably be very curious to know how one can manage to receive high yields on investments.
There is no need to invest much at first.
You may commense to get income with a sum that usually is spent
for daily food, that's 20-100 dollars.
I have been participating in one project for several years,
and I'll be glad to share my secrets at my blog.

Please visit my pages and send me private message to get the info.

P.S. I earn 1000-2000 per daily now.
