Nathaniel: "Mommy, I don't go back to school until JANUARY SIXTH."
Me: "I know! When you go back, it will be 2009."
Nathaniel: "WHAT?"
Me: "When January arrives later this week, it won't be 2008 anymore ... it will be 2009."
Nathaniel: "Oh, MAN. But I just got really good at writing 2008."
