The Simpson-Wentz baby has arrived, and his name is — drum roll, please — Bronx Mowgli.
First time parents Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, 24, and her Fall Out Boy bassist hubby Pete Wentz, 29, welcomed their baby boy Thursday night. Bronx weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz, and was 20 1/2 inches long.
"Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!" a spokesperson told People.
What's up with the name? We have no idea. The Bronx, of course, is a borough in New York City. Mowgli is a character in the Jungle Book. But maybe one of them just has a favorite uncle named Bronx Mowgli.

The "Mowgli" makes me giggle every time I read it.
Geez... people are messed up. Maybe they should stop offering mind-altering drugs to birthing mothers. They are not wearing off fast enough.
